The centrifuge tube is a common instrument in the laboratory and is a tubular sample container with a sealing cap or gland. The plastic centrifuge tubes are equipped with a tube cover, and the tube cover must be tightly sealed to prevent liquid from leaking out. Centrifuge tubes are often included in QuEChERS products.

Hawach centrifuge tubes can be divided into the following two types according to their size:
Ordinary centrifuge tube (50mL, 15mL)
Microcentrifuge tube (2mL)

Principle of centrifugation of centrifuge tubes:

When a particle (biomacromolecule or organelle) is subjected to centrifugal force under high-speed rotation, the centrifugal force “F” is defined by the following formula: F = ma = mω2 r, m represents the effective mass of the settled particle, and a represents the particle rotation. The acceleration, ω represents the angular velocity of the particle rotation, and r represents the radius of rotation (cm) of the particle. Usually the centrifugal force is usually expressed as a multiple of the Earth’s gravity, hence the relative centrifugal force “RCF”. Or by multiplying the number by “g”, for example 25000 x g, the relative centrifugal force is 25000.
